Do Medliant Registered Nurses Get Paid Time Off?

Do Medliant Registered Nurses get Paid Time Off?

Yes! Medliant USRNs get 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year in addition to their scheduled days off between shifts. Paid days off can be used for personal or family time, vacations, exploring the USA, traveling abroad, or to do any other activity that you would like to use it for!

How does Nurse Brennan use His PTO?

I personally enjoy having the opportunity to take paid days off to either visit family and friends back home in Canada or to host them here in the USA! I also really enjoy going on road trips or planning getaways across the USA. In the two short years that I have been living in the USA as a USRN, I have been able to take paid time off of work to travel all over Florida, Tennessee, Nevada, and California. Occasionally, I will even use my paid time off to take a day off to simply relax, complete a project at home, or to catch up on sleep! Having paid time off has been very beneficial if I ever have to take my car in for a repair, my dog needs to go to the vet, I want to attend a concert or sporting event, or I have a personal medical or dental appointment.

USRNs have a lot of flexibility with their schedule as it is, so having additional paid days off adds a significant boost to your work-life balance and quality of life. As it is, I find that trading shifts with my coworkers is relatively easy, and I can already get the days off that I need. Having additional paid time off simply adds to this already incredible schedule that nurses in the USA have!
